Everyday Patterns

In a survey conducted over the Christmas of 2019, a random group of 20 to 50-year-olds were asked what objects they most associated with women.

No reason was needed, and the exercise was not to expose sexism or make people feel bad. It was simply to solidify what we already all know.

Objects which appeared multiple times, perhaps unsurprisingly, included kitchen roll, cleaning products, shopping bags, cocktail glasses, and make-up.

These patterns are based on objects or situations that are considered stereotypically more 'female'.
